What is SkillArena?

SkillArena is a free iPhone and iPad game built around a four-minute Daily Arena: four short, varied challenges covering focus, memory, logic, numbers, careful reading and clear wording. Difficulty adapts to how you play, and your in-game ratings track your personal bests over time.

How long does a session take?

The standard Daily Arena takes about four minutes. You can also pick Quick (about two minutes) or Extended (about eight minutes). Every individual game can be played on its own in under a minute or two.

Does SkillArena work offline?

Yes. Every game, the Daily Arena, the Tower, bosses and your progress work with no connection. The only online feature is optional Game Center leaderboards, which need a connection and use your Game Center name if you choose to connect.

Does SkillArena make me smarter?

SkillArena is a game, not a cognitive or medical treatment. Your ratings show how you perform in SkillArena's games. Research generally finds that practice improves performance on the practiced tasks, while evidence for broad real-world transfer is limited, so we don't claim it.

Is SkillArena free?

Yes. SkillArena is free to download and play, with no ads and no account.

What data does SkillArena collect?

None. Progress is stored on your device. There is no account, no advertising SDK and no analytics service.
